| Katherine has been in private practice, located in Middlebury, CT., since 1992. She is a Certified Kinlein Practitioner, Hypnotherapist, and Reiki Master Teacher. Katherine is a member of the American Kinlein Association, National Guild of Hypnotists, International Association of Counselors & Therapists, International Association of Reiki Professionals, American Counseling Association, and the CT. Holistic Health Association.
She offers assistance and caring with people as they walk through transitional or growth periods in their lives. Clients are supported in connection with their own inner power and unique sense of self. Katherine has a great deal of experience to draw from as a "wounded healer" and has learned through her own healing, to love herself and others, transforming the pain, grief, anger, and shame into sources of strength and compassion. She assists others as they too, learn to transform the pain into sources of power, discovering the power within.
Some clients come for kinlein appointments or groups, others come for hypnosis or hypnotherapy, still others come for reiki appointments or classes. There are many clients who come for several modalities. All come seeking to improve or heal something within themselves. It is usually much easier than we think. It is exciting as clients accomplish their goals, healing at their own pace, in their own way, and in their own time, remembering who they really are.
Katherine has done extensive work in trauma and recovery. She developed and facilitated a 30-week self-esteem group that has been offered for the past twelve years. The program was originally designed for a local domestic violence shelter as part of a recovery program for survivors of trauma. This dynamic group has been developed further and is healing for everyone. Many groups have been offered over the years as well as a Wisdom Circle for continued spiritual growth. CT SIDS has referred clients for grief & loss work in private & group appointments. She has donated time to see clients as well as designed & facilitated programs for other groups and organizations.

Katherine is a well informed Lyme Disease literate practitioner. She has personally been in treatment, learning a great deal along the way. She now informs, educates and advocates for clients seeking information and support. Problems and questions may arise as people seek treatment or information. There are many resources available and becoming an informed self-advocate is the goal.
